1. 星期 week
The way to name Monday to Saturday is easy. We just need to put 星期 and Number 1-6 together. For example:
星期一 Monday
星期二 Tuesday
星期三 Wednesday
星期四 Thursday
星期五 Friday
星期六 Saturday
星期天/星期日 Sunday
There is no 星期七~ Be careful!
zhè gè xīng qī wǒ hěn máng 。
a. 这个星期我很忙。
I am so busy this week.
b. 我星期三有中文课。
I have a Chinese lesson on Wednesday.
c. 我爸妈星期天晚上来我家。
My parents will come to my place on Sunday evening.
2.前面 front
When you are in a long queue, you could tell your friends.
wǒ qián miàn yǒu shí gè rén
a. 我前面有十个人。
There are 10 people in front of me.
má fán zài qián miàn lù kǒu tíng yī xià
b. 麻烦在前面路口停一下。
Please stop at the intersection in front.
wǒ jiā jiù zài qián miàn
c. 我家就在前面。
My home is in the front.
3. 睡觉 To sleep
a. wǒ xǐ huān zài xià yǔ tiān shuì jiào 。
我喜欢下雨天睡觉。
I like to sleep on rainy days.
b. xiàn zài tài wǎn le ，wǒ yào shuì le
现在太晚了，我要睡了。
It’s too late now. I am going to sleep.
There is not always a sweet dream. I could totally understand sometimes we can’t fall asleep.
睡不着： can’t fall asleep
c. wǒ zuó wǎn shuì bù zháo。
我昨晚睡不着。
I can’t fall asleep last night.
